HIS CALL IS IRREVOCABLE

HIS CALL IS IRREVOCABLE
By Pastor Dorsey E. Marshall Jr.

"For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable.
He never withdraws them when once they are given,
and He does not change His mind about those to whom
He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call."
Romans 11:29 AMP

God has always been and will always be faithful. We have the ability to seek God in faith, or turn away. God's gifts and call are irrevocable. He will never change. Before the world was created God knew each one of us, and had pre-ordained us to good works. Good works are the things He wants us to accomplish while we are on the Earth. He has called us and equipped each of us to fulfill great things.
While God has a good plan for your life, how do you see it? What is your vision for your future? Maybe, there was a time when you were excited about your life with your big goals and big dreams, but there was that place along the way where you were side-tracked, lost focus, and you went astray from the great things you were going to accomplish for God.
Life is often filled with disappointments and will, sometimes, not turn out the way we had thought or planned. Some disappointments may have been of our own choosing, possibly mistakes we made, or, perhaps, the tough blows everyone experiences. With these disappointments, we can feel like we are going nowhere, and just settle-in, becoming saddled with the status quo.
God has not changed His mind about you. Where and when He called you is still in His mind, even though it may have faded in yours. God's plans never go away just because you blew it, or you had a set-back, or because someone treated you unfairly. God did not write you off, because you made some poor choices. God still has His eye, care, and love on you. Do you think, when He called you to the place He wanted you to be, that He was caught off-guard when you messed up? No! He knew every mistake you would ever make, He knew every person that would wrong you, and He called you, anyway. Regardless of your past, God's plan for you is still in place, and it is for your good.
LET US PRAY: "Father, thank You for loving me, calling me, and giving my life purpose. I choose to shake off my past; I choose to keep my eyes on You, knowing that

"I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be."
