Wounded Eagles, wait on the Lord, be revived and empowered to soar!

Wounded Eagles, wait on the Lord, be revived and empowered to soar!

On a recent visit to Alaska, I was taken to a restoration center for wounded eagles.  These eagles really looked as if they came out of a battle.  Some had torn ligaments, some had the feathers stripped off their wings, some had leg injuries where they have been caught in snares etc, some were even chained down, but all were incapacitated.  They couldn't fly and were in captivity, confined in small spaces, dependent on human provision and out of their natural element.
What I perceived in the natural was quickened to me by the Holy Spirit to be truly parabolic of what has happened too many in the spirit realm.
PROPHETIC EXHORTATION
Many of God's children have fallen prey to the assaults of the enemy and have not come through in victory, but are wounded, scarred and helplessly captive depending on the mercy of man, unable to fulfill their calling and destiny in Christ.
There is one remedy, found in Isaiah 40: 29-31:
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I want to encourage those who have been wounded, hurt, injured, whose wings are clipped, having no strength to lift them out of confinement of hopelessness, helplessness, despair, bitterness and resentment, sickness and disease.
Maybe you once flowed in the prophetic anointing, but through assignments of the enemy your voice has been shut down.  Today I want to speak to your spirit man and say, Arise! Listen to the call of the eagle and come into His Presence to hear what the Spirit is saying, and then releasing it into the airways, shouting it from the rooftops.  Take your rightful place in the body of Christ for such a time as this!
HEALING IN HIS PRESENCE
In His Presence, when we call on His Name, the wounds in our souls are healed and our strength is restored physically and spiritually.  It is in the waiting upon Him, in complete dependence on and trust in the Lord alone, that He works things out behind the scenes for our good beyond what we can pray or imagine (Is.64: 4-7).
There is one thing though that will always be up for inspection, and that is our heart's focus and trust.  We cannot put our trust in princes or in self (which brings us under a curse). In this waiting He delivers us from this folly and from all our attention to self until we step over into His grace by simple, childlike faith (Rom. 5: 1-2, putting our trust fully in our heavenly Father's faithfulness!
It is when we get a revelation that we can only stand by His grace and that all our self efforts are not only worthless, but despicable in His sight (like filthy rags) - then the light comes on and as His children we can simply step into the provision of His grace in Christ, knowing that there is sufficient supply in all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
II Cor. 12:9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
It sounds like a paradox:  His strength comes when I am weak?  Yes, exactly!  When I realize that without Him I can do nothing, but at the same time with God all things are possible (Matt.19: 26), then comes the victory!  Hallelujah!
After patience has been developed in the experience of His sustaining power, suddenly hope arises in the midst of tribulation and trials, and we can start jubilating in His wondrous ways in which all things work together for good for those who love Him and have been called according to His purposes. (Rom.8: 28)
The Lord is our glorious Savior and He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him (Heb.7: 25) as He lives to intercede for us.  What grace!
WAITING ON GOD
So, back to the waiting: I will never tire of writing and teaching about this power-packed word, which contains such a wealth and is a major key to open up God's miraculous power supply.
Our natural man finds it very difficult to wait. We want the shortest, quickest way out, so that we can move on with our lives.  But God hasn't got a clock like we have and He is in no hurry to work His image into us. This waiting that seems to stall us, especially in our works (even good ones), is His way of working the transformation in us (cocoon to butterfly-story?).
The word waitingin Hebrew is khaw-kaw, a primitive root (apparently akin to 2707 through the idea of piercing) to adhere to; hence, to await, long, tarry, wait.  It also means intertwining like a rope.
In the waiting we learn
1)    To cling to Him like the linen girdle of Jeremiah (Jer. 13).
2)    It is here that we are healed from woundedness that we sometimes do not even consciously realize.
3)    Here, in His Presence, His empowering by the Holy Spirit in close union-communion strengthens us.
4)    The piercing signifies our dying to self especially to our impatience, so that the fruit of longsuffering can be developed. (James 1:2-8)
5)    In the process our faith is tested and purified like gold in the fire (1 Pet.1: 7) and we develop full trust in Him.
6)    When we are restored emotionally, we can hear His voice again and we are empowered with fresh Rhema to speak forth prophetically into our destiny knowing that it WILL come to pass!
7)    We learn to enter into His rest perfectly content in whatever He ordains for us in His timing.
8)    Then to top it off, we get so intertwined with Him in worship that there is no separation, but the hiddennes in Christ is developed (Col.3: 3) in intimacy with Him.
All these hidden riches are developed in the process of waiting.  When we get this revelation, we embrace periods of waiting with great rejoicing, knowing that God is busy in us, pruning, purifying, strengthening our faith, transforming us into strong warriors.  In the meantime, according to the Word (Is. 64:4), He has all these unheard of, unseen before, unimaginable glory prepared for those whose hearts will not waver or turn away from Him, but who will patiently wait on Him, staying in righteousness, rejoicing in His coming surprises, while remembering His goodness and wondrous works in the past.
If we will, by faith, enter into His grace, we shall stand every test and come out on the other side in greater glory and greater faith with a greater testimony than before to and establish His Kingdom everywhere we go.  Hallelujah!

PROPHETIC CONFIRMATION
Two days after the visit to the restoration center, I literally had an air show of bald eagles, feasting on fish right in front of the place where I was staying. There were loud announcements by the older, bigger bald eagles and I counted 12 eagles at one time and the Holy Spirit conveyed to me that God's eagles are coming back in governmental authority, while feasting at His table.  Glory to God!
Wounded Eagles
So now, wounded eagles, wait in His Presence until He has strengthened you with new empowering of the Holy Ghost, then Arise (with new strength in your wings to soar into greater heights than before and with new perspective), and shine!  For the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
You shall run again, and not be weary; and you shall walk, and not faint to do the greater works in His Name and for His glory!
those who are Soaring
And for those who are soaring high, do not look down on the weak ones, but come in under them with your wings and lift them up with prayer, and Holy Ghost power and the sure Word of prophecy that will bring hope and deliverance and new strength!
Be blessed while rising up with new strength!
